The Total replacement value of Your Contents
If you don't insure your contents to there real value and something unexpected happens, you may not be able to replace all you have lost. As the 'Sum Insured' in your policy is the maximum amount you can claim, it's very important that your are adequately insured, and have enough cover to cope with a serious loss. When a sudden or unforeseeable event occurs causing an item or Items in your contents insurance policy to become misplaced, stolen, damaged or experience a natural disaster the item will be covered per the terms previously agreed upon with your insurer.
Occurs when some of the contents listed on your policy are destroyed. A partial loss means that you do not exceed your sum insured.
Refers to the result of completely exhausting the sum insured, meaning you are fully paid the vaule of the previously agrred sum insured.
